The Thirteen Years' War 1454–1466: Bernhard von Zinnenberg's mercenaries / Wojna Trzynastoletnia 1454–1466: Najemnicy (Perry Miniatures)

Hello everyone!

Inspired by the project of Aleksander Gawroński about the Crown of Kingdom of Poland army during the Thirteen Years' War (also called the War of the Cities) in 1454–1466, I decided to build the second side of the conflict, the Teutonic Order (the bigger part were mercenaries
Today, the first six pikemen from the mercenary army of Bernhard von Zinnenberg (Bernard Szumborski). This commander became very famous during the Thirteen Years' War serving the Teutonic Knights, but about him at the next opportunity (together with painted knights and himself).

I used plastic models from Perry Miniatures from boxes of mercenaries from the period 1450-1500 and several parts from troops from Agincourt Foot Knights 1415-29 box.

Mercenaries, like mercenaries, will be quite diverse in color with a predominance of different colors - in the case of Bernhard von Zinnenberg's troops will be mostly red and black.

There will also be a unit from Silesia under the command of Rudolf von Sagan (Żagański), and the Teutonic city guard of Henrich Reuss von Plauen (I have already glued several of them - picture below).

I. The Thirteen Years' War (The  War of the Cities).

The war 1454–1466 between the Teutonic Order state and the Crown of the Polish Kingdom, started as a result of Poland's support of the creation of the Prussian Union against the Teutonic Order, ended with the victory of the Polish Kingdom and the Second Peace of Toruń (Thorn).

The establishment of the Prussian Union, which began on February 4, 1454, an organization grouping the middle nobility and townspeople, led by the patriciate of Gdańsk, Toruń, Elbląg and Chełmno against the Teutonic Order headed by the Grand Master Ludwig von Erlichshausen, April 21, 1454 was supported by the Kingdom of Poland, whose king was Kazimierz IV Jagiellonian.
Trade unionists captured all cities and Teutonic castles, except for the capital Malbork (Marienburg) and Chojnice.

Witam wszystkich serdecznie!

Najemnicy, jak to najemnicy, będą dosyć różnorodni kolorystycznie z przewagą różnych barw - w przypadku oddziałów Bernharda von Zinnenberga będą to czerwień i czerń.
Będzie też oddział ze Śląska pod dowództwem Rudolfa von Sagan (Żagańskiego), oraz Zakonne oddziały Henricha Reussa von Plauen (tych już nawet kilku skleiłem - zdjęcie poniżej).

I. Wojna trzynastoletnia.
Stoczona w latach 1454–1466 wojna między państwem zakonu krzyżackiego a Koroną Królestwa Polskiego, rozpoczęta na skutek poparcia przez Polskę powstania Związku Pruskiego przeciwko zakonowi krzyżackiemu, zakończona zwycięstwem Królestwa Polskiego i II pokojem toruńskim.

Rozpoczęte 4 lutego 1454 roku powstanie Związku Pruskiego, organizacji grupującej średnią szlachtę i mieszczan, kierowanej przez patrycjat Gdańska, Torunia, Elbląga i Chełmna przeciwko kierowanemu przez wielkiego mistrza Ludwiga von Erlichshausen zakonowi krzyżackiemu zostało 21 kwietnia 1454 roku poparte przez Królestwo Polskie, którego królem był Kazimierz IV Jagiellończyk.
Związkowcy zdobyli wszystkie miasta i zamki krzyżackie, poza stolicą Malborkiem oraz Chojnicami.
