French band: Vivandière #2 (The Silver Bayonet)

Hello!

After Veteran Hunter it's time for second mini for The Silver Bayonet's French band!
Vivandière today! 

But who was such a person?
Just a woman (usually), who followed the troops to sell food and drink to the soldiers.

I admit, my dear ones, that I really like the models from The Silver Bayonet series (even with their imperfections, slightly exaggerated scales). 
      For over a decade I also prefer "skirmish". Sometimes I miss big battles and with great pleasure I watch reports on your blogs, but I prefer to devote myself to painting a small group of characters than to a few or a dozen troops (although the view is amazing for such an army from the Napoleonic period or antiquity!).

    Your vivandiere looks very comely Michal. I do like the idea of Silver Bayonet but I won't be going down that rabbit hole I don't think!

    Brilliant stuff Michal! A bit of a 'Sleepy Hollow' feel as well, I can easily see a headless horseman right in the middle of that photo 🙂
