Hello friends!
I invite you today to the first of the three inboxings of the sets I received from Temple of the West (thanks a lot again!).
As the first one, I will present to you my dears set of Gladiators, the list of which you will find in the last supplement for Clash of Spears (Rise of Eagles)What inside?
- We get 8 metal miniatures in a plastic blister (Sculpts from Stavros Zouliatis recently my favorite sculptor - I love his Greeks and Templars!),
- hands with weapons and shields to stick separately,
- 8 bases
In my humble opinion, the figures look great (a lot of details- shield are beautiful!). Historically, they could not be faulted. We have a Retiarius, a netman, and a few Murmillos.
In the weeks to come, will show you the raw sculptures of the Germans and Dacians.
And more about Spartacus revolt in future with painted minis!
Can't wait for painting!

ReplyDeleteThank you very much Matt!
DeleteRecenzji nigdy za dużo, dzięki za kolejną. A modele gladiatorów bardzo fajne.
ReplyDeleteDzięki wielkie. Po pomalowaniu mam nadzieję zyskają więcej :-)
DeleteNice figures and I am sure your paint work will do them full justice. The Spartacus slave revolt is something I think we all know a bit about, thanks to at least two movies on the subject!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, love the movie with Mr Kirk, the Legend! TV series is also good, but more like 300 and other fantasies :-)
DeleteA great set, from what I can tell, . showing all the main-stream types of gladiator.
ReplyDeleteYes sir! Hope will be looking good after painting process :-)
DeleteThose are some very nice sculpts indeed! They'd mix in nicely with my (Still unpainted... yikes!) Gangs of Rome figures I think.
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes :-)
DeleteThank you so much sir!
Great looking figures. In my opinion they have a bit "before the battle" poses. but there is nothing wrong with that.
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
