Ronin Mando & Roku the Pug (Bac Ninh Miniatures)

Hello!

I'm back to feudal Japan times, but wait a minute! Not completely.
Today, a mix of the samurai era and... the Star Wars universe - Mandalorian!
This atmospheric model styled on the space Bounty Hunter has all the attributes of a samurai and protection of a little pug (instead of baby Yoda)

Stavros Zouliatis is responsible for the sculpture
You can buy this model from Bac Ninh Miniatures

Who is this enigmatic character, who hides behind his helmet?

Belonging to an ancient culture worshiper of Amateratsu goddess of the Sun. He is always accompanied by Roku the pug, the legend tells that Roku is the reincarnation of Jinmu the great-grandchild of Amateratsu. Mando is armed with two strange firearms and his famous Tachi forged with fragments of the legendary sword Kusanagi.

  10. I think this version of the Mandolorian might be my favourite miniature that you've ever painted. It's a high bar. But holy cow - what beautiful work.
