The Silver Bayonet: Canada. Trading Company Unit: A Native Scout

Hello and welcome!

Today the third model for my Trading Company.
Since I'm making the first group for this Silver Bayonet Canada from models that I have in my collection from a few different systems, today I'm making a scout from the Muskets and Tomahawks Native Indian set.

Hope you like it!
A great fun to painting!

  2. Gdy go zobaczyłem to od razu przypomniał mi się film Ostatni Mohikanin. Czy to Huron?

    1. Tak, bo to mniej więcej te same czasy :) Huron, Irokez albo Mohawk. Nie precyzowalem bo to tylko jeden w bandzie będzie taki indiańskimi scout :)

  3. Beautiful paintjob! Were you inspired by any historical source for the Indian's facial decorations and accessories? Is the skull next to his foot that of a buffalo?

    1. Thank you. I was inspired by various graphics from the Internet. yes, the skull of some large animal. I read that moose hunting expeditions were organized as far away as Canada. so maybe a moose skull?

  5. Super work on the native American, Michal. The face-paint and feathers colour combo is especially well done, and very striking. Great choice.

  7. Excellent - I have just bought a bunch of Woodland Indians by Crusader Miniatures myself - they have not arrived as yet but something to add to my growing lead pile when they get here - and I can return here for inspiration when I come to paint them!
