Knight, Death and the Devil : The "Nuremberg" Knight or Minor Noble (Styriwar Kickstarter)

Hello friends!

A new Kickstarter starts in next week.  All that goodies from my STYRIWAR friends.

Styriwar takes on Dürer's legendary Dark Medieval Gothic Work as reimagined historically accurately researched Wargaming or Diorama-Pieces.

Those are the (partially modular) Dramatis Personae:

  • The "Nuremberg" Knight or Minor Noble wearing a Black Sallet, and German Period-Fashion
  • The "Death" reimagined as Charles the Bold of Burgundy modelled after the Saint George's Reliquary by Loyet in Liège
  • The "Devil" reimagined as a Swiss Hornblower, with a unique stylized Halberd
  • the loyal Dog
  • A Scenic Base that helps you recreate Dürer's artwork as a Diorama
  • Lots of Stretch Goals to unlock such as Alternative Parts, poses and  more Surprises
  • High Details for scalability: The miniatures are intented for 28mm, but can be scaled upwards to at least 54mm (or taller) due to the finely detailed scultping!

and... today the first painted one! The "Nuremberg" Knight / Minor Noble

A beautiful, detailed model! Painting it was a real pleasure.

Next in line will be a Swiss Hornblower devil and I will also paint a dog - a faithful companion of our knight and then - Charles the Bold of Burgundy (also an awesome miniature!).

=====> KICKSTARTER <======

And a bonus!

I'm on the first part of my vacation with family in Gdansk and Gdynia now.

And from the Polish seaside city of Gdansk, here are a few photos of the largest European brick gothic church - St. Mary's Basilica.

What's inside? Beautiful stained glass windows, altars, sculptures... and Hans Memling's 'The Last Judgement'!
