Eagles of Empire The Franco- Prussian War Kickstarter

Hello friends!

Today I would like to recommend you and invite you to the Kickstarter, which started under the banner of The Franco-Prussian War.

Eagles of Empire is responsible for this project with new ruleset for fast, skirmish games and beautiful minis!

And that's not all! In cooperation with the producer, at INSTAGRAM, We prepared a GiveAway action with a set from Kickstarter.

"Historical wargaming should be fun, fast and offer an abundance of cool quality miniatures to paint! That’s why we’ve developed Eagles of Empire. When playing Eagles of Empire you jump back in time, and into the boots of an officer during the epic Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71, fighting and directing your squads in the very midst of battle. You’re constantly challenged to make fast tactical decisions, during a hard-fought war that would see the fall of imperial France and the rise of the German Empire, events forever changing the face of Europe, and paving the way for two world wars".

"The fate of Europe is at stake, as you take control of one of the four historical Factions; Republican France, Imperial France, Prussia or Bavaria. With the Eagles of Empire Unit Cards system, each on-table unit of miniatures has its own corresponding Unit Card, which gives you a complete overview of stats and any special abilities for that particular unit. This way you no longer have to waste good gaming time flipping through rulebooks, because all the data you need is already accessible via the beautiful full colour cards".

  6. Skirmish Napoleonics appeal to me just on a time-saving basis alone. Love seeing grand tables set up with massed ranks but I just don't have the time to be able to paint armies that large anymore. Might have to research this Kickstarter some more as I like the look of those minis.

But over time, I started to appreciate Skirmish Games

  8. The conflicts of the 19th century have always caught my attention, the Napoleonic Wars, the Carlist Wars in Spain, the Franco-Prussian War..., I never cease to be encouraged, due to the large number of miniatures that have to be painted. Thanks for teaching it, I'm going to dig a little about the game.

  10. They do look nice and I guess there are numerous small level skirmishes in any war, but somehow, squads of under twenty figures does not seem right for FPW....and that's coming from someone who is more and more interested in smaller scale games! Seeing you paint these up will be a treat for us all though, no doubt about that Michal!
