Medieval thugs #1 (Claymore Castings Medieval Skirmishers)

Hello!

After the recent REVIEW of the skirmishers set, today I invite you to watch the first two painted.
I decided to add fragments of cobblestones to the bases (green stuff + sand), which would suit the urban climate.

I unpacked a model kit a week ago from AMMO by Mig Jimenez and I decided to try out the first dry pigment set at the end of working with cobblestones.
Hope you like this 'naturalistic' effect.

The figures were very nice and pleasant to painting. I really love these dynamic poses and medieval looks! I wasn't crazy about the colors either - they look like bullies, maybe a bit of killers or robbers.

Enjoy!

  15. These skirmishers look very small ... must have been tougher to paint than normal.
