The Nazgûls of Dol Guldur (Dark Lord Miniatures Penitent Knights review)

 

Hello friends!

Approx. 2 weeks ago I got 3D print files from Dark Lord Miniatures ( PATREON) to check.

The models will be Ringwraiths / Castellans from Dol Guldur in my collection (a rider maybe even "A Mouth of Sauron?)

Dol Guldur (sin. Hill of Dark Powers; Hill of Sorcery) - a fortress located on Amon Lanc Hill, in the southwestern part of Mirkwood.

It was built around 1050 of the Third Age as the secret hideout of Sauron, who had returned from the east.
The Istari, upon discovering this place, initially assumed that one of the Nazgûl had settled there. 

       Sauron hid his identity, taking the name of the Sorcerer. – (...) there he practiced magic, and all creatures feared the Wizard of Dol Guldur (...).
For the next years he hid there, and almost the entire forest was seized by evil powers.
Fear of him also reached the Valley of Anduin, and its inhabitants often fled from there (e.g. Éothéod in 1977). Over time, Sauron's power increased greatly...

Ok. 2 tygodnie temu dostałem do sprawdzenia pliki do wydruku 3D od Dark Lord Miniatures ( PATREON)

Dzięki fachowej usłudze Minifaktura. Drukarnia 3D tak prezentują się alternatywne modele, które u mnie będą Upiorami Pierścienia z Dol Guldur ( konny może nawet "Ustami Saurona?)
Oj pięknie wyglądają!

Dol Guldur (sin. Wzgórze ciemnych mocy; Wzgórze czarnoksięstwa) – twierdza położona na wzgórzu Amon Lanc, w południowo-zachodniej części Mrocznej Puszczy.

Wzniesiona została około 1050 roku Trzeciej Ery, jako sekretna kryjówka Saurona, który powrócił ze wschodu.
Istari, odkrywszy to miejsce, początkowo przypuszczali, iż siedzibę obrał tam sobie jeden z Nazgûli. 

       Sauron ukrywał bowiem swoją tożsamość, przybrawszy miano Czarnoksiężnika. – (...) tam się oddawał czarom, a wszystkie stworzenia bały się Czarnoksiężnika z Dol Guldur (...).
Przez następne lata ukrywał się tam, a prawie cały las ogarnęły złe moce. Strach przed nim sięgał również Doliny Anduiny, a jej mieszkańcy często uciekali stamtąd  (np. Éothéodzi w 1977 roku).
Z czasem potęga Saurona znacznie wzrosła...
