Landsknechts X

Hello friends!

And with that, I would like to invite you to the last entry with Landsknecht pikeman.
Today is the last soldier - I went crazy and made this guy with a bible (or hymn book).

I really enjoyed painting this 10 - even though it lasted on and off for a few years! Haha!
Next in line will be the shooters - crossbowmen and firearms.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holiday !

Back in next week with Year's summary :)

  5. Kurt looks really focused on reading: but is it a book he owns or has just plundered? Maybe the effort in his expression is due to trying to read when he can't read at all... However we love the choice of colours for his dress and how you rendered the shades and highlights. We look forward to seeing his painted comrades-in-arms appear on the battlefield!

    1. Yes! Knowing the Landsknecht's penchant for plundering, this is how it was!

  9. Wonderful figure-painting, Michal, and a lovely-looking pose which really helps make him stand out. Really like the notion of a soldier reading from the bible as his press of pike march forwards. Great stuff.

  10. Dobrze czasem zrobić coś innego, to świetnie dopełnia oddział. Bardzo dobrze pomalowany ostatni członek oddziału.
