Hello friends!
After far too long, I invite you to watch the second stone troll!
Beautiful model from CheckPoint Miniatures (before CP Models) will join my The One Ring project.
I have two more patterns of these monsters - which I will try to paint much faster than one every two years :)
Stone Trolls
They are dangerous monsters, often joining in small groups, living together in caves, strewn with the remains of careless wanderers.
They seem to be a bit more intelligent than their brethren, perhaps because they often settle on the outskirts of inhabited areas.
The extremely ancient variety of trolls owes its name to the fact that it turns to stone when exposed to sunlight.
"A nice pickle they were all in now: all neatly tied up in sacks, with three angry trolls (and two with burns and bashes to remember) sitting by them, arguing whether they should roast them slowly, or mince them fine and boil them, or just sit on them one by one and squash them into jelly". - J.R.R. Tolkien "Hobbit"

Fajnie zobaczyć, takie mądrzejsze z pyska i postawy, trolle. Bardzo dobre malowanie. :)
ReplyDeleteOj nie masz najlepszego zdania o swoich haterach ;)))
DeleteAle faktycznie modele są bardzo ładne.
Splendid paint work Michal.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much sir!
DeleteThey are beautiful. Classic in their design and wonderful in their paintjob!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for a kind words mate!
Będzie trzeci i bedzi i kociołek :))
DeleteZgadzam się w zupełności co do bajkowości modeli :)
Awesome looking minis, Michal, and a great shout-out for CheckPoint Miniatures - I visited their website straight after seeing this post.

DeleteWonderful looking trolls, Michal! Love the "scaly" skin.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it!
DeleteThank you very much :)
Malowanie zacne, natomiast rzeźby przypominają mi trolle z bajki Łowcy trolli. Ot takie pierwsze skojarzenie.
ReplyDeleteOoo to muszę zaraz zgooglować :)
DeleteDzięki wielkie.
very cool trolls. 😁
ReplyDeleteThank you very much sir!
DeleteBeautiful paintjob on beautiful miniatures of beautiful trolls! 😁 These trolls with big ears (similar to the Perry twins' Citadel ones) have always seemed very funny to us... Is the troll leaning on his weapon holding an axe or a simple iron-reinforced club?
ReplyDeleteThank you very!
DeleteSome kind of iron club :)
He is so cool !
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeleteEleganckie chłopaki!
ReplyDeleteDziękuję serdecznie!
DeleteStone trolls never looked this good! Fantastic job Michal :)
