Sword-For-Hire: Shinobi (Ronin)

Hello!

Today another ninja (Shinobi) in my Japanese collection.
An excellent model from Zenit Miniatures, thanks to the mask and body positioning, it reminds me very much of Darth Maul from Episode I: The Phantom Manace.

Shinobi (ninja or Shinobi-no-mono) - secret agents or mercenaries in feudal Japan who specialized in special operations, intelligence, reconnaissance, infiltration and assassinations, but also in hand-to-hand combat and melee weapons.

I'm currently working on finishing the Ikkō-Ikki warband, so the ninja shown today will most likely join the warband.

    One of your best, imho, Michal. I can imagine that assassin's victim being rooted to the spot in terror at the sight of that mask. Terrific paint-job.
