The Comte de Rochefort (Anno Domini 1666)

Hello!

Not Darth Vader, not Thulsa Doom from Conan the Barbarian, but one-eyed Rochefort (Christopher Lee face) was my first villain from childhood times.

A very nice Anno Domini 1666 miniature of that character today :)

Count de Rochefort - a fictional character created by the Alexandre Dumas, the protagonist of two of his novels: The Three Musketeers and Twenty Years After.
A spy of Cardinal Richelieu and the main antagonist of the musketeer d'Artagnan and his friends: Athos, Porthos and Aramis, later a friend of d'Artagnan and a member of the Fronde.

D'Artagnan called him "The Man of Meung" until he learned his real name. The character of the count himself is fictional, although his biography was made up of the fates of several characters, and the surname "Rochefort" was taken from history.
