Today I invite you to see a newly painted bishop from the first half of the 13th century, which I received from my friends from STYRIWAR.
The conclave is approaching, so today my candidate to take over Peter's throne 😉
A German-speaking bishop, of fervent faith, who is good with words and... the sword!
This beautiful model will join my 13th century winter army of the Teutonic Order (The Livonian Order - an autonomous branch of the Teutonic Order), heading towards Lake Peipus in 1242...

A lovely figure with your usual first-class paint job but I don't think he has much chance at the top job - I suspect the Cardinals are looking for someone a bit "meeker"!!
