Guards of Traitor's Toll : Cityfolk #3 ( Pied Piper of Hamelin / Der Rattenfänger von Hameln ) (Grey For Now Games)

Hello friends!

New two painted  Guards of Traitor's Toll Villagers cityfolks today!
A variation on the Pied Piper of Hameln ("Der Rattenfänger von Hameln").

According to legend, in 1284, the Lower Saxon town of Hamelin in Germany was struck by a plague of rats.
A rat-catcher hired by the townspeople used the music of a miraculous flute to lure the rats, which then drowned in the Weser.
When, after the job was done, the rat-catcher was refused the promised payment for getting rid of the rodents, he led all the children of Hamelin into the unknown in a similar manner...

The second painted model is an ordinary raftsman returning from an expedition.
I also painted the rats swarm - from GW Cursed City set, as I remember.

    1. Dziękuję. A ja jestem tradycyjnym malarzem, nie używającym żadnych kontrastów, speed paintow. Tu to tylko czarny, biały mixowany z kolorem bazowym turkusowym.

  7. Sensational work, Michal. I've always found the pied piper to be rather creepy, and you've definitely captured that feel with your figure. Lovely paint-job.
