Hello!
My 5-year-old son has recently become fascinated with painting Space Marines squad. We haven't been able to convince him (yet!) to paint knights or hoplites, but he's been tempted by Games Workshop's #1 product.
My older daughter also creates things, but not "wargaming" ones ;-) (Japan stuff!)
And in the meantime, I've painted two more Mutants/Poxwalkers on this base. For simple games and learning how to roll dice ( for Space Station Zero game).
Maybe something will come of it in the future :)
As for the plague boys, they fit the post-apocalyptic atmosphere, failed experiments on a spaceship, or any other scenario where the opponents are mutants.
I have about 5 more and I will be painting them between various historical projects.
So today it's a bit family-oriented 😀
best
M.

Those Poxwalkers look truly putrid, and I'd expect them to burst at any moment, great when your children take an interest in any part of the hobby.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Dave!
DeleteAle banda popaprańców ! ( figurki , nie dzieci).
ReplyDeleteFajnie, że młodzi też chcą coś tworzyć.

Dzięki za wizytę i komentarz!
DeleteLovely work. Great to see your son getting involved Michal, although you'll probably have to now put money aside now for his education and a similar amount to pay GW prices.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteYes, you're right. I haven't bought anything from GW for several long years and had no idea their products were so expensive.
I'll have to convince junior that the Napoleonic soldiers box is also cool :-))
Those Pox walkers look suitably putrid
ReplyDeleteThank you very much :D
DeleteGratuluję rodzinnego podejścia do hobby!
ReplyDeleteModele są fenomenalne! Z obrzudzeniem na nie patrzę by z uznaniem, po raz kolejny, docenić kunszt Twojego warsztatu. Gratulacje!
Dziękuję bardzo.
DeleteJakoś modele calkiem fajne są to i będę w międzyczasie plugawił kolejnych :)
Not my thing at all, but up to the usual high painting standards - good luck with the kids! Mine - 26 and 24 - have zero interest but my gaming mate Julian managed to get his two girls (early 30's now) interested enough that they will play fantasy type board games with him occasionally!
ReplyDeleteYes, the kids will have to experience this first :)
DeleteAnd I hope it's not Games Workshop - it's too expensive :)
Słitaśne. Nie ma jak nerdować z rodziną!
ReplyDeleteTaaak :>
