The Swamp Man, the Gravedigger and the Preacher (Artizan Designs Frontier Characters)

Hello everyone!

As another springboard from the medieval climate that has reigned supreme at DwarfCrypt since the beginning of the year, I painted Frontier Characters.
They fit perfectly into the second half of the 19th century, from the Wild West to Lovecraft's Innsmouth area.

Recently, 3 years have passed since I painted the first model from this set (Gravedigger), and I decided to finish the other two. And believe me, I have minis in my cupboards waiting much longer for painting ;-)

The Artizan Designs AWW004 - Frontier Characters Set consists of 3 metal frontier heroes, all cast in one piece. I really like Artizan's sculptures, whether from the II World War, from the Viking era or from the wilderness of America.

  10. Very nice! Artizan are nice sculpts though can often be a little "bulky" I feel. Your painting though has done a good job at highlighting their strengths for sure!

  16. Outstanding paint jobs as usual from your talented brush Michal. I like Artizan too and have not found them particularly large when matched with the likes of Copplestone
