Happy Halloween!

As every year, I have prepared a special entry on the occasion of the dark beings holiday!

  1. Haha - suitably Halloween looking Michal - do you have that "holiday" in Poland too - is it traditional, or imported from the USA? We had it in Scotland when I was a child 50+ years ago but it wasn't as commercialised as it is now - when I first came to New Zealand in 1988 it was basically unknown - people had seen it in American films but it was as alien to NZ as 4th of July or Bastille Day - but in the mid 90's, it suddenly became a "thing" here - and now we have kids traipsing round the streets knocking on doors looking for free sweet treats - bah humbug!

    1. ha! yes, we have a day off that day, but it is not related to American Halloween.
In Poland we have been celebrating All Souls' Day for centuries.
We will walk to the cemetery that day and put candles on the graves of our loved ones.
Reflection and memory - no commercialism.
and with Halloween, you know, kids dress up and look for candy.

  5. Spodziewałem się czachy sensu stricte, a tu coś w rodzaju ghoula ze skrzydłami/szczypcami na plecach, ale co by nie mówić, Twoje malowanie klasa!
