Felix Jaeger (Gotrek & Felix novels)

Hello everyone!

I present a cult character from the world of Warhammer today (no, not Age of Sigmar, but a real Hammer) and one of my favorites from this universe.
I painted him again after over 20 years. I chose a classic look, as described in the books about the adventures of Gotrek and Felix. I heartily dislike any shit-green coats and other nonsense. Felix must be Felix :)

Felix Jeager came from a wealthy merchant family. As the son of an influential merchant, he lived a carefree and fun life. He studied at the University of Altdorf to become a poet in the future. He was also a good swordsman and loved to duel.


        His and Slayer's paths crossed after a series of unfortunate events. During one of the duels, he accidentally killed one of the students. The consequence of this was expulsion from the scholars and disinheritance by his father.

       Felix's next prank was to participate in the protest against the window tax. To chase the crowd, the authorities sent the Emperor's personal guard, the Reikland Guard.

Peaceful protest turned into regular riots. Felix was mistakenly taken as one of the demagogues who stirred up the crowd. However, the sudden appearance of the massive dwarf saved Felix from the charge of the guards.

That same evening, in a fit of euphoria and copious amounts of alcohol, Felix swore a blood oath with Gotrek. The oath obligated him to follow the Slayer until his death and record his deeds so that the world would remember his merits. This is how their journey together began...

      Felix has long blonde hair, scars from many adventures, and wears a chain shirt and a red coat. Over the years of following Gotrek, Felix become an accomplished swordsman.

His weapon is the Karaghul, the rune sword, a dragon-hilt blade recovered from the fallen Karak Eight Peaks. A relic of the Knights of the Order of Fireheart was forged to slay dragons.

Dziś przedstawiam kultową postać ze świata Warhammera (nie, nie Age of Sigmar, a prawdziwego Młotka) i jednego z moich ulubionych z tego uniwersum.
Pomalowałem go kolejny raz po przeszło 20 latach. Postawiłem na klasyczny wygląd, zgodnym z opisanym w książkach o przygodach Gotreka i Felixa.
Serdecznie nie podobają mi się jakieś sraczkowato-zielone płaszcze i inne nonsensy.
Felix to musi być Felix :)

Felix Jeager pochodził z bogatej kupieckiej rodziny. Jako syn wpływowego kupca prowadził beztroskie i rozrywkowe życie. Studiował na Uniwersytecie w Altdorfie by w przyszłości stać się poetą. Był też niezgorszym szermierzem i uwielbiał się pojedynkować.

       Drogi jego i Zabójcy skrzyżowały się po serii niefortunnych zdarzeń. Podczas jednego z pojedynków przypadkowo doprowadził do śmierci jednego ze studentów. Konsekwencją tego było wydalenie z uczeni i wydziedziczenie przez ojca.

       Następnym wybrykiem Felixa był udział w proteście przeciwko podatku od okien. Do rozgonienia tłumu władze wysłały osobistą straż Imperatora Gwardię Reiklandu.
Pokojowy protest zamienił się w regularne zamieszki. Felix omyłkowo został wzięty za jednego z demagogów podburzających tłum. Jednak nagłe pojawienie się masywnego krasnoluda uratowało Felixa przed szarżą gwardzistów.

    Tego samego wieczora w przypływie euforii i sporej ilości alkoholu Felix złożył Gotrekowi przysięgę krwi. Przysięga zobowiązywała go do podążania za Zabójcą aż do jego śmierci i spisania jego czynów, by świat zapamiętał jego zasługi. Tak rozpoczęła się ich wspólna podróż...

       Felix ma długie blond włosy, blizny po naprawdę wielu przygodach, odziany jest natomiast w koszulę kolczą i czerwony płaszcz. Przez lata podążania za Gotrekiem, Felix stał się znakomitym szermierzem.
Jego bronią jest runiczny miecz Karaghul, ostrze ze smoczą rękojeścią odzyskane z upadłego Karak Osiem Szczytów. Relikt Rycerzy Zakonu Ognistego Serca, został wykuty w celu zabijania smoków.
