It has been nearly two years (minus a month!) since my last post about the 'Dwarf Merchant Trading Post Guards' band currently in the works!
If Thorin Oakenshield’s company had taken that long to prepare for their expedition, they never would have reclaimed the lost treasures stolen by the dragon Smaug!
The impetus to paint a few more 'Oldhammer' Dwarfs came from recent photos released by GW showcasing their vision of Dwarfs (a style reminiscent of *The Avengers* meets *Warcraft*). ...and those leaf-blowing 'gales'! Oh...
I definitely prefer the Dwarfs that were with me back in the 90s and early 2000s. That is why another trio of shooters is joining the squad today.
I have one Longbeard left to finish—who will serve as a Thane—along with one more old Bugman's Ranger, whom I’m fielding as a standard warrior.
